USING THE LOS ANGELES METRO

The Metro in LA is inexpensive, easy to use, and can take you to a variety of tourist attractions, freeing you from the need to find parking.  I have left two TAP cards for my guests to use.  This is what you will need to purchase tickets for the Metro.

The nearest Metro Red Line station is two blocks away.  To get to it, walk to the end of the block and turn right on Western Ave.  Two blocks up the street you’ll reach Hollywood Blvd.  Look to your right and you will see two escalators leading down to the Red Line station.
Picture
After you take the escalator down, you’ll see several kiosks along the wall where you can buy your ticket.  Each person traveling on Metro will need to have their own TAP card with valid fare.  You will need to purchase fare for however many rides you need, and load it onto your TAP card.  One ride is $1.75, and a round trip is $3.50.  There are also day passes for $7.00.

Before boarding the train, you will need to “tap” your TAP card on the green circle before you pass through the turnstiles.  You will need to repeat this on your return trip as well as any transfers to other trains you make along the way.

CHECKING OUT

In the event that I am not available to personally see you out after your visit, here is what you need to do…

If you DO have a car in the garage:

    1) Make sure all of your personal items have been packed up and
        loaded into your car.

    2) Pull your car out to the street and double-park.
    3) Bring your apartment keys and gate opener back up to the
apartment and leave them on the white shelf next to the front door.

    4) Lock the bottom lock on the door and pull it closed behind you.
You will still be able to exit out of the front door of the building.

If you DO NOT have a car in the garage:

    1) Make sure all of your personal items have been packed up loaded
        out of the apartment.

    2) Leave your apartment keys on the white shelf next to the front door
        of the apartment.

    3) Lock the bottom lock on the door and pull it closed behind you.
You will still be able to exit out of the front door of the building.

Thank you very much for choosing to stay at my loft, and I hope you will come back again on your next trip!  If you have a moment, please login to AirBnb and leave me a review.  5-star reviews are incredibly helpful for me.
Thank you!!!
- Drew
